Opening Plenary: Investing in Women’s Health

Featuring highlights from McKinsey’s report delivered earlier this year at Davos from McKinsey partner, Julia Samorezov, who also moderated the panel featuring Dr. Stacey Rosen of the Katz Institute for Women’s Health (and incoming President of the American Heart Association), Samantha Borowsky of Maven Clinic, Mira Kaufman of Ingeborg Investments, and Rachel Snyder Good of Epstein Becker Green, who gave us more than enough reasons to invest in women’s health and innovation while also showcasing how doing so has improved overall health outcomes.

Women-Centric Benefit Design
Moderated by Dr, Sharon Smith and featuring Dr. Janet Choi of Progyny, Cynthia Williamson of Ralph Lauren, and Sandy Zornek of Nasdaq, emphasized that true women-centric benefits go far beyond maternity and underscored the need for employers to track outcomes and use data to drive meaningful change in benefit design. They shared strategies for closing persistent coverage gaps—from fertility and menopause to cardiovascular and gynecologic health—while addressing cost barriers and ensuring equity for women of all backgrounds.

Chronic Conditions and Long-Term Wellness
Moderated by Dr. Kia Swan-Moore of Goldman Sachs and featuring Jennesa Atherton of Sword Bloom, Kaitlin Usinger of Crossover Health, and Marie Frazzitta of Abbott, explored the structural and cultural challenges women face in managing chronic conditions and centered how employers can leverage primary care models, tech-enabled solutions like wearables, and data-driven interventions to offer earlier, more coordinated care while integrating mental health as a key pillar of chronic disease management.

Whole Woman Wellbeing
Moderated by Danielle Shanes and featuring Mary Tinebra of Inflection, Stephen Sokoler of Journey, and Dena Faccio of Voya Financial, looked at how a holistic approach to women’s wellbeing that connects mental health, caregiving, and financial wellness can help address burnout which disproportionately affects women and using tailored strategies can connect women to better benefits support throughout all life stages.

Fertility, Family Building, and the Employer’s Role
Caroline McGoldrick, AON opened with her personal fertility story, setting the stage for a broader conversation about how reproductive care must go beyond maternity to support caregiving, mental health, and postpartum needs. Employers can expand benefits to include surrogacy, adoption, and miscarriage leave, by focusing on culture, data, and measurement to guide strategy.

Closing Plenary: Two Paths, One Journey – Navigating Perimenopause and Menopause

Moderated by Shelley Lanning at Visana Health and featuring Visana Health’s Dr. Chevon Rariy, in conversation with two female Jain monks, Sadhvi Siddhali Shree and Sadhvi Anubhuti on their unique journeys in perimenopause which inspired their forthcoming docuseries Balance: A Perimenopause Journey. The series aims to give women more information and education as they navigate their own unique journey.
