Dr. Veronica Rotemberg is a board-certified dermatologist and Director of Dermatology Informatics Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). A leader of her own lab at MSK, Dr. Rotemberg is passionate about her patients, technology, and the future. She has been a member of the MSK faculty for over six years and is committed to advancing tools and technology to help provide optimal care for patients.

Dr. Rotemberg and her colleagues work together to address bias that exist within imaging data sets, which are used in training AI tools to recognize potential cancers. She sees AI as a powerful ally to help physicians provide better care to everyone who needs it.

Dr. Rotemberg attended Duke University, where she entered an MD/PhD program. She earned her PhD in biomedical engineering, focusing on the non-linear behavior of tissue and how it can be monitored using ultrasound. She completed her dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Rotemberg is a member of the Board of Directors of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine and is the Chair of the Augmented Intelligence Committee for the American Academy of Dermatology.
