Michael C. Sokol, MD, MS, is a physician executive with over 30 years of professional experience, both in large health care corporations and smaller entrepreneurial companies. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Clinical Strategy at Quantum Health, a health care navigation and care coordination company. Dr. Sokol has previously held executive roles at WebMD, Sanofi, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline and Medco Health Solutions where he focused on population health, employee health and well-being, chronic condition management, value-based benefit design, health services and outcomes research, medication adherence, and health care quality improvement. He is currently working as an independent consultant.

Dr. Sokol is board certified in public health and general preventive medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine. He serves on the editorial board of the journal Population Health Management and has published several papers in the peer-reviewed medical literature. In addition, Dr. Sokol is a member of the Medical Director Advisory Council of the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions as well as the Medical Director Roundtable of the Northeast Business Group on Health.
