Erin Smith is the Director of Pharmacy Benefit Advisory Services at Children’s Hospital Association (CHA), bringing more than 20 years of experience in pharmacy operations and pharmacy benefit design. In her role, she supports hospital benefit leaders in navigating complex pharmacy benefit management (PBM) challenges through CHA’s ScriptSERV PBM solutions—three comprehensive, full service offerings designed specifically for children’s hospitals. These solutions combine strong contract protections, expert guidance, enhanced purchasing power, and flexible, customized plan design.
Prior to joining CHA, Erin worked at Cerner, now Oracle Health, where she partnered with internal and client benefit teams to design pharmacy plans that balanced high quality member experience with effective medication cost management. She continues that same commitment to quality, collaboration, and value in support of CHA member hospitals.
Erin is a registered pharmacist and earned her degree from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Her clinical background brings important insight to formulary strategy and utilization management program development.
