Elaine has over 25 years of experience in the employer-based HR world and also consulting with clients on HR strategy and day-to-day benefits operations. She has worked with many client industries from manufacturing and oil and gas to nonprofit and higher education. Elaine prefers a data-driven approach to evaluating and strategizing benefits decisions.
Elaine worked as the assistant VP/director of benefits and compensation for Rice University for over 15 years and developed an appreciation and deep understanding of HR and HR systems. There, she also served on the board of the Houston Business Group on Health and supported the organization's growth by sharing timely employer-based experiences within the Houston community.
Elaine joined Princeton University as AVP, Compensation and Benefits in July of 2025 and is excited to help Princeton remain an employer of choice. Healthcare costs continue to be a concern for all employers, and she enjoys hearing from and collaborating with other employers on the best strategies for containing costs while supporting employees.
