Ramcess (Ram) Jean-Louis is Pfizer’s Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Officer.
At Pfizer, Ram believes the primary goal is to be a best-in-class organization that embeds DEI in our workplace and into our purpose by delivering breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. Ram brings more than 20 years of experience as a change agent delivering human capital solutions and a passion for helping all employees reach their full potential and fostering a culture of continual learning and inclusion. He is responsible for developing and leading the execution of our global, enterprise-wide strategies to transform our DEI agenda while creating strategies, infrastructure, and programs to make sure we continue to enhance our culture where every person is seen, heard and cared for.
Ram has held previous roles at Verizon Media and Comcast, where he worked collaboratively across the enterprise – as well as with all senior leadership – to educate, engage and create momentum in relation to company-wide diversity & inclusion brand, reputation, and community engagement strategy. He was also responsible for developing and executing strategies that helped his companies become more reflective of the communities served.
He received his Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law in New York and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and is an admitted member in good standing with the State Bar of New York. Outside of work and family, Ram spends time on a non-profit called Turning Points for Children, which provides adoption and foster care services to children at risk. He is a member of their Board of Directors and sits on the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee.
