Josh Van Ginkel is an accomplished leader, consultant, and relationship builder with more than 25 years across diverse organizational types (Fortune 5, entrepreneurial, and not-for-profit), industries (healthcare, finance, and legal services), and departmental functions (network contracting, pricing and underwriting, regulatory, communications, client management, finance, operations).

Prior to joining PSG, Josh served in a variety of roles at OptumRx, including Vice President of Strategy and Health Plan Growth, Vice President of Network Strategy and Account Management, Senior Director of Network Contracting, Director of Regulatory Affairs, and Health Policy Manager. In these positions, he consulted with large health plan clients to improve pharmacy pricing and sales strategy; developed new offerings and pricing models, while increasing client engagement with key health plan clients; led a network team resulting in drug cost savings from negotiations with over 25,000 pharmacies, while reorganizing the provider relations team, and increasing access, utilization, and quality of network data; led the regulatory team, which researched and advised the business on legislative and regulatory issues pertinent to all lines of business, while improving or maintaining existing processes and margins; and led multiple successful business expansions and reorganizations, including financial and budgetary analysis, staffing plans and operational improvements.

Josh participated in the International Education Program at Foothill College and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.
