Angela Luong has more than 14 years’ experience with PBM benefit & medical benefit strategies, including clinical work with Medicare Part D, Medicare Part B, and Commercial lines of business; omnichannel management; specialty strategy consulting; and specialty pharmacy network management. Angela utilizes data analytics and clinical assessments to help clients make decisions regarding drug coverage and optimal coverage channel for high cost, specialty conditions. Recently, Angela has employed omnichannel management for specialty and non-specialty conditions and has provided expertise in cell and therapy evaluations for coverage. Prior to joining PSG, Angela served as Specialty Clinical Director for Prime Therapeutics, where she evaluated spend, trend, and market changes for appropriate management strategies and oversaw development, implementation, and maintenance of Specialty product solutions. Angela completed a Managed Care Pharmacy Residency program at OPTUMInsight, providing clinical support for analysts and actuaries to ensure models appropriately portrayed the clinical practice. Angela earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell Development from the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences.
