Dr. Jennesa Atherton, PT, DPT, has worked extensively with pelvic-health and orthopedic patients. While working in clinics, she quickly recognized limitations and barriers to care with the current healthcare model, with respect to cost, accessibility and quality. Jennesa is a founding team member of Bloom, Sword Health’s next-generation pelvic-health solution. She leads Clinical Affairs, connecting women with digital pelvic therapy from home. Jennesa advocates for innovative approaches to reach more people with advanced technology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University. She lives in the Windy City with her husband, Derrick, and goldendoodle, Jack.
