Dr. Myra Altman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Chief Clinical Officer at Brightline, where she stewards Brightline's commitment to clinical quality, provider satisfaction, clinical research, overall care model development, and safe innovation for care services.
Dr. Altman received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, where her research focused on the health behavior change for children and families. She has spent over a decade providing evidence-based care for anxiety, OCD, and health psychology (e.g., sleep, coping with physical illness) for children, adults, and families. She primarily practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and believes in aligning care to the values and strengths of each individual family. She completed a fellowship in value-based care at Stanford University Clinical Excellence Research Center, which solidified her drive to change the way health care is delivered to improve access to high-quality, sustainable, and equitable care.
