The organization provides resources to families whose child has been diagnosed with Down syndrome and the medical professionals who deliver that diagnosis.

She volunteered for the 2023 Super Bowl LVII in #Phoenix, AZ, where she was out at the airport greeting thousands of guests and helping them find their way to their hotels, rental cars, or ride shares. "I met many interesting people and solved many problems. This year I volunteered for the NCAA Final Four, again out at the airport but this time as a team captain, I also got to supervise the other volunteers. It’s a special time and to me it mirrors who I am. I love helping people, solving problems, and giving directions. It gives me a glad heart and peacefulness that I can make a difference in others lives.”

Meet Sara Malm, RN, BSN, our Nursing Guild Program Manager. She won the 2024 Life Time Sea Otter Classic race in the females 40+ category, finishing the 67.1 mile race in 6h 18m 46s. “Dreams do come true!!! Making the XC MTB (cross country mountain bike) podium at Sea Otter has been a dream of mine since I started racing 11 years ago. Standing on the top step was an even bigger bucket list dream that always seemed slightly out of reach. Today the pieces finally fell together... strong start and pretty much perfect execution from beginning to end. I won my age group!!! It was hard, it hurt, but wow it was amazing and I'm forever grateful for all the moments of the day.” Follow along for more on our incredible nurses all week long!
