So there you have it! At Hinge Health we just wrapped up our 3rd Annual Movement Conference - and I am so grateful for the 350+ attendees who came to beautiful Chicago to talk about the state of our industry. It was standing room only at The Old Post Office, and the energy was palpable. - Ellen Kelsay and Jim Pursley led a fantastic (and interactive!) fireside chat on how to make healthcare less painful → data sharing was top-of-mind for many employers on how digital health solutions can better work together. - Mario Queiroz and Inessa Lurye reviewed our product pipeline and announced our Global and our Menopause products - the latter being an overlooked area in healthcare. - Our Enso station needed more Ensos! - Two members shared incredibly human and touching stories - Jenn overcame her depression by first overcoming debilitating shoulder pain, and Rhonda refused to accept that pelvic pain was just a part of life. - We had several breakouts on women’s health, cardiovascular, navigation, and mental health - thank you Progyny, Inc., Hello Heart, Lyra Health and Accolade, Inc. - We had several industry panels to learn best practices - not just about deploying an MSK solution, but how to sift through the Cambrian Explosion of digital health products on the market and ensure successful implementation. What’s the point of putting so much work into launching a new service for your members if no one uses it? I was grateful to discuss our perspective that if Wave 1 of Digital Health was about building separate solutions disconnected from the existing healthcare infrastructure, we hope Wave 2 of Digital Health will involve unification with community providers. And lastly, thank you to our incredible team for putting this together - especially Marina Mastilović, Alexa F., Aleyna Blackwood, Mary Gruber, Michael Loesel, Jenny Sucov, Stephanie Yee, Eric Suliga, Kara Hieatt, Rafael Ornelas, Sara Schmidt, Sherry Shen, Milana Shapira and more.
