A Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Parker serves as the Chief Training Officer for TrestleTree. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Arkansas, received her B.S. from the University of Florida, and completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. As the Chief Training Officer, Dr. Parker oversees coaching operations and coaching personnel for TrestleTree. She joined TrestleTree in 2006 and works closely with senior Clinical Staff personnel and Training Team Leads to recruit, hire, train and supervise TrestleTree Health Coaches. She also works closely with all other business teams, ranging from client services to information technology. Dr. Parker is a former recipient of a National Research Service Award and has research experience in the area of substance use disorders. She also previously taught Psychology courses at the University of Arkansas and has prior clinical experience in outpatient and inpatient settings that span a wide range of presenting problems. Dr. Parker has dedicated herself to the prevention and treatment of difficult health behaviors, with special attention given to change theories, the therapeutic alliance, and effective influence strategies.
