As a recognized thought leader in HR and benefits, Megan is responsible for the strategic direction of Segal’s research and insights on benefits, retirement, rewards, and people strategy. This work includes bringing together Segal’s collective perspectives and innovative ideas to help improve the lives of millions of Americans.
Known for her expertise in the areas of retirement, financial wellness, and employee engagement, Megan has led award-winning campaigns with some of the country’s biggest employers to improve and increase employees’ interactions with their benefits.
Megan is widely quoted by the media and speaks frequently at industry conferences and with policymakers. She’s testified several times before the ERISA Advisory Council to the U.S. Department of Labor and recently served on DCIIA’s Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Segal, Megan was Head of DC Experience at State Street Global Advisors. In this role she was responsible for global thought leadership, as well as client and participant engagement for their Defined Contribution Team.
Megan earned a B.A. in English from Colby College and an MBA from Boston University.
