At Maven, we believe that everyone deserves the quickest, safest, and most affordable path to parenthood possible. Today, we announced that we've expanded our Fertility & Family Building program to bring us closer to that goal. The reality is, many aspiring parents face barriers accessing the education and resources they need to conceive. That's why we've introduced our Trying-to-Conceive (TTC) Coaching service, providing vital support for members who may be struggling to conceive but can’t access or don’t want to pursue IVF. TTC Coaching doesn’t just help deliver a better member experience—it reduces costs for employers by avoiding unnecessary treatment when clinically appropriate. Swipe to learn about how our individualized TTC Coaching helps fill the gap between trying to conceive and fertility treatment, our Maven Managed Benefit (MMB) that seamlessly integrates care and coverage, our expanded network of providers for comprehensive male fertility support, and more investments in our Fertility & Family Building program.  Find the full press release here: https://bit.ly/446XFcb Learn more about how Maven’s Fertility & Family Building program can support your team: https://bit.ly/3JmUrYI

Let’s talk Gen Z, the newest generation of adults that accounts for 1 in every 3 members of the workforce. Gen Z brings a unique set of values and priorities that shape their expectations from employers—and they’re not afraid to leave a role if these needs aren’t met. In fact, according to our 2024 State of the Industry Report, 50% of Gen Z have left or considered leaving a job because the company didn't offer adequate reproductive health benefits, compared to 35% of millennials and 16% of Gen X. Head to the Maven blog to learn more about attracting and retaining Gen Z talent by offering the benefits they actually want, including comprehensive support for women's and family health: https://bit.ly/4brnF54

"While several missed periods might signal to a woman that she should book a primary care appointment, men simply have no equivalent check engine light.” While men account for roughly 50% of infertility cases, 18-27% are never tested during an infertility evaluation. Women become, as author and investor Leslie Schrock puts it, treatment surrogates for their male partners. And this doesn't just matter for those trying to conceive. Male fertility is often overlooked as a way to assess a man’s overall health. In this week's issue of The Preprint, Dr. Neel Shah examines the history and evolving science of male fertility tests, what they tell us, and why they matter—including how they can be used to get men into primary care earlier: https://lnkd.in/eAFcK6jk

Christy Turlington has one of the best-known faces in the world. But for over a decade, she’s skillfully championed global maternal health, while never becoming the face of the movement. In this week’s issue of The Preprint, Christy joined our Chief Medical Officer Dr. Neel Shah to share how her own birth experience led her to found her nonprofit, Every Mother Counts, her learnings from the frontlines of the birth equity movement, and what it means to be an ally and advocate for mothers around the world.
