We’re fortunate enough to have many rockstars on our team, but we’re especially excited to see them get the recognition they deserve. 👏Let’s hear it for Nancy Vitale for being recognized as a Top 10 Human Resources Professional by OnConferences. Selected by peers for how she’s demonstrated Omada’s values and her impact on the organization - Nancy’s win is well deserved! The Omada Health team had an amazing time at Personify Health’s #ThriveSummit2024! Kevin Masci, Pharm D and Tom Maraday represented Omada Health during a packed to the brim breakout session. One of the findings we shared? We saw a 4x increase in enrollments when Omada is offered through Personify Health with an even higher percentage of members who meet our clinical reduction goals for both Diabetes and Hypertension than our benchmark. Thanks for another fantastic year at #ThriveSummit!

Happy Women’s Health Month! Omada would like to take a moment to celebrate 5 Women’s Health Wins over the past calendar year: Win 1️⃣: In February, the White House signed an executive order aimed at advancing women’s health research and innovation by strengthening data collection and providing better funding opportunities for research. Win 2️⃣: The Menopause Research and Equity Act was introduced to Congress late last year. If it passes, the NIH will step up efforts to improve women’s midlife health. Win 3️⃣: Last summer, the FDA approved the first-ever over-the-counter birth control pill called Opill. Win 4️⃣: Last year, women’s health companies with female founders collectively raised $434.9M in 2023; that’s nearly $100M more than ever before! Win 5️⃣: In 2023, VC investment in women’s health companies was up by 59% YoY after several years of near-stagnation. As far as overall gender health equity, there’s still a long way to go. Take win 5️⃣, for example women's health companies consistently receive less than 5% of the total VC healthcare funding. Despite YoY growth, that trend didn’t change last year. Still, it’s important to celebrate progress, and this Women’s Health Month there’s plenty to celebrate. Illustration by Sanja Djordjevic

It’s National Minority Health Month - and what does that mean? It’s aiming for health equity through addressing the social drivers of health (SDOH) that represent 80-90% of the modifiable factors that impact health outcomes. Many of these drivers include community, social context, racism, and other factors that may impact minority populations more. While we can’t address all the systemic social and digital drivers of health, we can help each member, one by one, navigate their barriers to care. Our program is set up to: ⭐ Build rapport with culturally-sensitive and informed coaches ⭐ Engage with contextually-relevant program experience ⭐ Create commitment with relevant clinical guidelines It’s time to believe in better health.

Happy National Arab American Heritage Month (NAAHM)! We’re taking this as an opportunity to share awareness about Arab Americans and the history of NAAHM, while celebrating the contributions Arab Americans have made to this country. Some things Omadans are doing to celebrate: ⭐ Educating ourselves by listening to stories from Arab Americans about their cultural identities and experiences living in America ⭐ Attending local celebrations ⭐ Supporting Arab American-owned businesses Thank you to our new ERG for Middle East & North Africa (MENA) for pulling together these resources. #NationalArabAmericanHeritageMonth #NAAHM
