Kris Aimone is a 33-year veteran of health promotion in clinical and non-clinical settings. She received a B.S. in Allied Health with a focus on Health Promotion and Cardiac Rehabilitation from Central Michigan University in 1987 and began her career working with the diseased population at Mercy Hospital in their H.E.A.R.T. (Health Enhancement and Rehabilitative Therapy) Center in Muskegon, Michigan. Kris worked closely with Cardiac Rehabilitation patients providing exercise recommendations and instructions, EKG monitoring, chart documentation and review.

In 1990, Kris became involved with corporate wellness when the Michigan Department of Public Health authorized the H.E.A.R.T. Center to provide corporate wellness services to small and medium sized companies. She developed, implemented, promoted and performed health risk assessments, lipid profiles, health education, as well as fitness testing to selected area businesses.

In 2005, Kris began her career at Southcoast Health as Wellness Coordinator for the Employee Wellness Program, HealthQuest. Newly created, the position and program allowed her to return to health promotion. While at Southcoast she has designed, planned, implemented and promoted wellbeing programs that are available to approximately 7,500 employees. To engage employees, she enjoys weaving humor into her role. Kris believes that building trust and respect with the employees has been a key part in building the program.

Kris lives in Bridgewater, Massachusetts with her husband Paul and are the proud parents of William, Ashley and Nicholas – and their newly adopted dog, Abby. She enjoys reading, gardening, walking, and is perpetually assembling 1,000-piece puzzles. She volunteers for the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts as well as Southcoast VNA – Hospice.
