Denise is an Assistant Vice President and Licensed Clinician within Aon’s National Health Transformation Team. Her role is to partner globally with clients and Aon’s colleagues in identifying the components of emotional and mental health that impact their organization, along with cultivating strategies to improve the mental health of the global workplace and communities. Her role also includes mentoring junior colleagues.
Denise has over 35 years of experience working with middle, large and jumbo market employers leading project teams. She has over 20 years of experience, working in the mental health industry and various social service agencies. Denise has vast experience developing Mental Health and Substance Abuse programs, Employee Assistance and Work Life programs, including developing strategies, and approaches to promote emotional wellbeing in the workplace, including evaluating, designing, selecting, and implementing these programs. She leads vendor and client negotiations, implementation of various programs and has experience conducting audits, plan design and clinical reviews. Denise has work with the State of Minnesota assisting in implementing their MnFire mental health program for volunteer firefighters and has advise several municipalities and healthcare agencies on mental health support for first responders. She also developed and implementation the EAP program for the City of Portland.
Denise is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Denise had operated and managed a private practice in mental health for over nine years. Her background includes clinical practice in community- based care, school-based education programs, and outpatient services. She has years of experience in the caregiver field. She is trained in Mental Health First Aid.
