Scilla Andreen, CEO & Founder of iMPACTFUL and Co-Founder of IndieFlix is an award-winning Filmmaker, Author & Founder of ImpactfulFund.org. Working closely with youth, mental health professionals, brain scientists, educators, and experts in Wellness, DEI and HR; Scilla created the Creative Coping Toolkit (CCT), a film and evidence-based mental health literacy program featuring Angst, LIKE, The Upstanders and RACE to Be Human. Using story to educate, the CCT is designed to engage, measure impact and normalize talking about mental health by addressing anxiety, loneliness, suicide, social media addiction, online safety, bullying and belonging. The program was created for employers, employees, educators, students and families.
Scilla’s work has been featured in The New York Times ,Good Morning America and Today. She is Included in Screen International’s, Multichannel Women to Watch, Variety’s Women’s Impact Report and Puget Sound Business Journal’s Women of Influence.Additionally, she’s produced and/or distributed social impact films, Nevertheless, Screenagers, Empowerment Project and Finding Kind.
Scilla works with corporations, nonprofits and thousands of schools around the world. She loves learning and exploring new technology and uses stories to bond, bridge, build and model curiosity, empathy and resilience. Scilla is a popular speaker at Sundance, Cannes, CES, SXSW, Women in Film, mental health summits, educational institutions and HR and DEIB Healthcare industry panels. She is a mother of 6 and resides with her husband Eric and two black labs in Seattle WA. Scilla believes everyone should have free or affordable access to mental health education.
